Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. She spent the majority of her early years listening to classic music Boleros from the past, traditional ranchero or romantic songs, as well classic classical music. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other dramatic shows. After singing with her mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous training in singing at 16 under the tutelage of the renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. In the following years, she was a student at the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was a member of many opera ensembles as well as chamber groups. When she moved to California in United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present home in southern California. She is currently performing traditional Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. as a music teacher and musician, she is committed to many projects in the community because of her love and passion for music. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana hopes, by sharing her knowledge of Latin American traditional songs, that she will instill a passion, particularly for the young generation to keep this tradition vibrant.
