Alexandra Maria Lara has been a German/Romanian television actress for a long time. Alexandra is well-known for her parts on Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her career in show business from a young age. By the time she turned sixteen, she had secured prominent roles in a variety of TV dramas. Her performance as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, from Downfall (an Oscar-nominated wartime historical film) was critically as well as critically acclaimed commercially. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominated features featuring models. Through the years, Alexandra has worked in several important international and national productions. These comprise British biographical films like Control and The Dust of Time as along with the French historic miniseries Napoleon. She also remained member of the jury for the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
