Aisling Bea

Aisling is a well-known Irish comedian, who's been performing for some time. She was born in Kildare, Ireland on 16th March 1984. She appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh or Aisling "Bea", is a famous Irish actor and writer. Born on March 16, 1984. Bea's career began in the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic following her appearance in a few part in Irish and British TV series starting in the year 2009. The year 2012 saw her begin appearing on a variety of sitcoms and sketch shows. In 2012, after she was awarded an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) in 2012, she began appearing frequently in panel programs. In 2016, and in 2017, she was a team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. Additionally, she was a contestant of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister named Sinead. She was the only female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. She uses the surnamed Bea to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan, born Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian is an equine veterinarian who took his own life at the age of three. Bea didn't learn how her father passed away until she turned thirteen. Bea was her stage name. Bea is a tribute to her father. Bea was the author of an opinion piece for The Guardian, published in 2017, about her experience of suicide. Bea was raised with her younger sister Sinead and her mother Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer and former professional racer. The family was fascinated by horses and race meetings. Bea started her journey as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However Bea knew early that the racing industry wasn't for her.
